In are media lesson we learnt how sounds has a big impact on how we see a scene and these are some of the notes I took with my group mate Joe Russ CEO of Russ Studios Entertainment. What this is showing is what sound can do in film and things to consider when using sound when filming.
- Can accompany the meaning
- Can change the meaning/context of a scene
- When not used can create a ‘dead atmosphere’
- Can help control the pace
Things to consider for my film
- Layering and levels
- Timing
- What impacts/effects do I want to have in my film? How much do I want it to be noticed?
- Use for tension, jump scares, use of silence
